Humble is the way...
“Pride goes before destruction & a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit w/ the lowly, than to divide the spoil w/ the proud.” Proverbs 16:18-19

Humility is defined as freedom from pride or arrogance, the quality or state of being humble. But, on the opposite end, pride is the trap of being deceived by the delusion of one’s own self importance. It’s a characteristic that tries to place self above God. Oftentimes, we can get so caught up in our own little world that we forget that although some of us may have what are considered “important jobs/positions/etc.”, none of us are in charge of the time that the sun comes up and none of us can direct which way the wind blows. May we all remember that each of our lives are nothing but a vapor, that all work under the sun is vain and that all wisdom stems from humility and fear of the Lord.
