HOT TOPIC: Save those who are stumbling towards doom...
“Don't hesitate to rescue someone who is about to be executed unjustly. You may say that it is none of your business, but God
knows
and
judges
your motives. He keeps watch on you; He knows. And He will reward you according to what
you
do.
” | Proverbs 24:11-12

All over the country people are crying out for justice and certain people are twiddling their thumbs, acting obtuse to what’s going on. But it’s always helpful to have the reminder that one day we will all be judged according to our motives towards those who have been treated unjustly. Here are some great ways that you can get involved and help w/ the injustice & Historic unrepentant sin of hate towards Black America:
Educate yourself - Here is a list of 10 black history docs you can watch to educate yourself on race issues. And here is a tweet thread that showcases some of what Black Americans go through on film/tv sets:
Open your purse and donate - At SC we are focusing on the cruelty of mass incarceration. We recently made a donation to Voice of the Ex-Offender/Experienced (VOTE) and encourage you, if you can, to donate there.
Open your purse again and buy black - Buying products cannot bring back black lives but it can help to build up black communities that have been brought down by America’s history of inequality. Shop Black
Pray - At Sisterhood Cinema we believe in the power of prayer and the power of Christ to bring salvation to those whose hearts are hardened towards God. We will be starting a weekly prayer group at SC, if you would like to be apart, you can email us at sisterhoodcinema@gmail.com for more info!
